Rested and full of drink, Fotil, Hoggard, Demetria, and Rayla snuffed out the fire and headed along the tree line of the forest and into the damp hazy cove of the Taltneph Sisters.
Rayla halted to a standstill and closed her eyes. She began to project expressions of deep concentration and clenched her fists with anger. Fotil noticed her deep disturbing trance and yelled out to gain her attention.

Victorian Black Widow Kill Counting Journalby ~BCcreativity

Artisan Crafts / Folding & Papercraft / Bookbinding & Bookmaking

This is the last creation in my Victorian Monster Series.
The Journal is 8x10.5 and filled with 292 hand numbered pages of Parchment.
A five cord spine with hand sewn head bands and rich red hand marbled paper with a web design.
I used black napa leather and inset a red Black Widow hourglass shape of Italian goats leather.
Embellished the journal with a Victorian Steampunk design and hand painted the finishing touches.
The red silk bookmark ribbon is attached to a chain at the top and anchored with a real black widow encased in an oval resin gem.
Finally I lightly coated it with paraffin wax and buffed it out.

This is probably the most beautiful journal I have ever set my eyes on. EVER.

I swear I've probably spent the last 15 minutes just looking at the picture because It's so bloody gorgeous.

Just the Victorian Steampunk and the theme of it all and holy hell I'm dying.

This would be like one of those things, that if you saw it in a store, you would buy it immediatley.

I was actually thinking of a design because I wanted to make a steampunk- esque journal and then you made this and i's beautiful and I want it so badly and ugh.

Sorry for the rambles. ^__^

Oh God, I can't.

First off, I love how it's a Black Widow thing, but it's Victorian. I aslo have enourmous respect for anyone who can arrange a balanced composition with gears and stuff like that, because I find that really hard, but you've crearly achieved an awesome design there. The only thing I don't like do much is the marbled paper, I think it sort of doesn't fit the mood, but that might be me. The real spider was a really good idea for a final touch. Overall, exquisite work!
