This is a Steam-Punk journal with a center inlay . Hand bound in italian goats leather. Natural Parchment for the text block and hand marbled paper for the end sheets. Hand sewn headbands and simple line tooling.
Wonderful! Is it possible to do a cut out cover? Like have the cover bound in leather with a square cut out to reveal the central image on the underlying page? I'll have to compress the image onto one layer for the printing, but ideally, the cut out style is what I'd envisioned for the cover design...
It can be done. It is very difficult though. Especially if it is leather bound and the opposite side is marbled paper. The die cut has to have either a panel insert or a groove cut to allow for fold-in. I hope this helps. Cheers
I think this is the most high-quality, technically astounding steampunk book I've seen. Not to mention the design is awesome! I especially like the marbled endpapers and the handsewn headbands. Your dedication to craft always inspires me.
